COVID-19-related supply shortages are being reported at stores across the U.S. as the nation faces the third and deadliest wave of the virus yet.
Twitter user @ladysparkleshoe took to the platform on November 17th to share a photo of Costco customers standing around waiting for the shelves to be re-stocked with items such as paper towels and bottle water. Here we go again!

"And so we are back to this," they captioned the post. Describing the scene at the yet-undisclosed location: "People mad there’s no TP, Paper towels or bottled water at Costco. The staff looking for other things and people standing around hoping for water or TP." Yikes!

While the retailer hasn't officially announced supply chain issues, the photo tells all. The U.S. is facing record cases daily of the novel coronavirus, so it's unsurprising that Costco and other big box chains would soon face shortages.
"Friday I was at my local Costco: no TP, yes bottled water, some paper towels. Sunday at Target: minimal TP, minimal paper towels...I got paper towels at Target & water at Costco...will see what it is like tomorrow or Thursday," user @rebeccadunnell replied to the post, confirming that the issue is not isolated to the wholesaler.
