Costco’s bakery items are known for being top notch, with many Costco superfans picking their pies, mini cakes, and fresh baked cookies as their favorite items to purchase at the retail giant. But this new bakery item—ahem—takes the cake! Costco just released Gooey Cinnamon Rolls, and fans are obsessed. Keep reading for more information.

Costco’s Gooey Cinnamon Rolls

This delicious treat is sold in a pack of 6 for $12.99, but these aren’t some skimpy cinnamon rolls that are smaller than the palm of your hand. These are huge and absolutely dripping in buttery, cinnamony, sugary sweet icing. TikTok user @CostcoHotFinds shared a video of the dessert (or breakfast! No judgement here!), and described it as “soft, doughy, and gooey,” and promised their 1.3M followers that they are a “must try!”

The video now has over 4.9M views, 239.2K likes, and over 1,000 comments from users agreeing with her. Others, however, remember when these cinnamon rolls were released for the holiday season last year, and note that the chain has definitely changed their recipe since then—and the price. The old cinnamon rolls cost $7.99, and customers are now debating which recipe is better.

Fans Love The New Gooey Cinnamon Rolls

In @CostcoHotFinds' comment section, users have been sharing the love for the new sweet treat. "Those cinnamon rolls are an A+. A must buy," agreed one person.

"THESE ARE DANGEROUS," another shopper warned. "I had over half the tray in 1 sitting!"

"These are better than Cinnabon," another customer said, and a fourth replied, "Running to Costco now!"

"I am a cinnamon roll man," one person commented, "and these are a home run."

"They are amazing," another user agreed. "The best cinnamon rolls ever."

But others aren't as impressed, and prefer the old version of the cinnamon rolls. "Last time I had them they went dry after a day or two," one person said.

"Mine weren't gooey," another shopper reported. "The new ones are trash 3/10 old ones 10/10."

"This year $12.99? Think I'll make ones from scratch for that price," wrote one customer.

"They tasted better at $7.99 the new ones don't taste as good," a final fan agreed.
