Crock pot recipes and meal planning in general can help speed along weight loss, and certain ingredients can boost that process even more. As long as you don’t mind a little spice, cayenne pepper is an excellent addition to almost any meal.

Besides adding an extra kick of flavor, cayenne pepper can also help boost fat loss. According to Eat This, Not That!, "A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that daily consumption of capsaicin improved abdominal fat loss."

This is due to capsaicin's effect on the hunger hormone ghrelin.  Healthline explains, "Many studies show the capsaicin in cayenne peppers helps reduce hunger." This means that you will most likely eat less and stay full for longer, making weight loss more manageable.
