Burger King just cut its classic apple pie from its menu, and customers are so sad to see it go!

The chain’s Dutch Apple Pie was a favorite treat among Burger King customers. Unfortunately, due to Burger King’s supplier stopping production of the apple pie, the fast food chain can no longer serve this customer favorite.

A company spokesperson told FOX Business, "“Burger King restaurants will no longer be offering the apple pie as part of our dessert menu since our supplier is no longer producing the product."

The dessert is now noticeable absent from online menus, and will only be available in locations while supplies last, according to Chewboom.

However, there will still be plenty of ways to get your sweets fix at your local Burger King. The fast food chain is still offering their Apple Pie (which is served in pockets of pastry, not like the Dutch Apple Pie's slices).

They are also offering vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry shakes; chocolate and strawberry sundaes; vanilla soft serve; filled cone; HERSHEY'S® Sundae Pie; and King Fusion with Emperador®.

A Reddit thread reacted to the sad Dutch Apple Pie news, and customers are definitely upset. Some are even hoping to buy the pies in bulk before they're completely sold out!

Some have also decided to stop going to Burger King entirely, saying that they only went there for the apple pie. One Reddit user wrote, "Same here, I've been searching in disbelief as to the mysterious disappearance. It's the only reason why I order from BK. Guess it's back to McDonalds for me."

Although it seems unlikely that the Dutch Apple Pie will make a comeback, especially considering the fact that it was the supplier not BK who made the decision, customers are still hoping to see it return.
