Oprah Winfrey continues to deliver chic looks every time she drops a new podcast episode.

One trend we’ve noticed is her knack for pairing stylish tops with comfy joggers. This time, she elevated her look with a cutout Fendi sweater. The cozy yet fashionable piece featured ribbed detailing at the neckline and sleeves, along with a unique slit at the neckline and a cutout detail at the hip.

The hip cutout was adorned with the Fendi mirror logo printed in a contrasting tone and tied elegantly at the side.

The talk show host paired the shirt with tan sweatpants that fit her slim figure like a glove and matching sneakers with white laces.

Her hair was slicked back in a sleek ponytail, and she rocked her signature nude makeup look.

During the episode, the producer invited Dr. Ania Jastreboff, an endocrinologist and associate professor at the Yale School of Medicine, to discuss obesity, food addictions, and how GLP-1 medications work.

This topic holds personal significance for Oprah, who has proudly showcased her dramatic weight loss in recent years after a lifelong struggle with maintaining her weight.

However, as she discussed this subject with the doctor, fans were divided over a comment she made about “thin” people.

Oprah Divides Fans After She Makes A Comment About ‘Thin’ People

Winfrey stated, “One of the things that I realized the very first time I took a GLP-1 was that all these years I thought that thin people had more willpower. They ate better foods. They were able to stick to it longer. They never had a potato chip.” She added, “And then I realized the very first time I took the GLP-1 that they weren’t even thinking about it. They’re eating when they’re hungry, and they’re stopping when they’re full.”

That’s when she realized obesity was a disease after years of blaming herself for her weight.

Her fans took to her Instagram comments section to disagree with her statements, saying:

“Thin people also think about food all the time, but they work hard to manage their physical and mental needs in a healthy way and not by taking medication.”

“To characterize thin people wholesale in this manner is just a lie, @oprah. There are many thin people, or others who are a healthy weight but not necessarily ‘thin,’ who do in fact draw on willpower and strategic tactics to keep their weight down. They create an environment that, unlike most of our society, is NOT obesogenic. I forbid myself from eating until I’ve walked for an hour. That’s willpower.”

“I like Oprah, but I don’t like her supporting widespread use of these drugs. They add costs to the system and are not effective long term. Only in extreme cases should this drug be used for weight loss.”

Oprah revealed last year that she had used weight loss medication to shed approximately 40 pounds.
