Bra shopping: it’s no walk in the park, am I right? There’s nothing more frustrating than searching high and low and not being able to find a style that fits you well. We’ve all been there! It seems like it doesn’t matter what chest size you are, finding a bra that’s actually comfortable and flattering can be an impossible task.
That’s why discovering CUUP was such a game changer. CUUP is a new intimates brand committed to providing women of all sizes with functioning bras that are both comfortable and stylish. Finally! After researching what women wanted, they set out to make a collection of flattering and unrestrictive bras for all.
“To create a bra that looks proportional on a woman’s curved body, you have to be deliberate in how you balance functional need and aesthetic to achieve attractive designs across sizes,” Abby Morgan, Co-founder of CUUP told SHEfinds.
But designing a naturally inclusive brand that can fit over 40 sizes of boobs is no easy task. It took CUUP years to get it just right.
“We were able to constantly prototype hundreds of samples and conduct over 80 fittings, while most of our competitors are limited to 10-12 fittings,” explained Morgan. “Our development was deeply rooted in customer feedback, and while most competitors start fitting on one size and grade up or down (from the average size of a 34B), we fit on 10 different sizes.”
CUUP’s newly launched collection includes four elevated bra styles: The Scoop, The Balconette, The Plunge, and The Demi. “Bras today are designed to push boobs up and together, and it’s challenging to find lightweight, unlined bras that provide support and comfort at bigger sizes,“ said Morgan.
Each bra is priced affordably at $68 and comes in a variety of beautiful mesh fabrics.
“We also aim to inspire confidence in all women to make the best of themselves with the body they have. Our creative showcases women from different backgrounds and bra sizes, styled and shot in an elevated and beautiful way – aiming to fundamentally shift how we perceive size and feel as women,” said Morgan.
