On Instagram, fans were thrilled by the fresh pictures of the pair in India, where Coldplay was performing several concerts. One fan noted on the platform that Johnson looked "beautiful" as another added that she and the "Viva La Vida" hitmaker are "so cute together." Over the past few months,

Johnson sparked speculation about a possible breakup after being seen without her engagement ring from Martin. Experts estimate the ring, adorned with a striking emerald, to be worth approximately $340,000. The Lost Daughter star made two recent public appearances without the ring, according to reports from OtakuKart and The News International. 

This included her September 2024 red carpet moment at the Kering Foundation’s annual Caring for Women dinner in New York City, and while walking her dog in Malibu in August. An insider told the Daily Mail that month that Johnson and Martin broke up. Hours later, a representative for the Daddio alum and musician shut this down, telling E! that this was “not true” and that they were “happily together” at the time.

In March of last year, news broke that Johnson and Martin "got engaged years ago  [in 2020] but were in no rush to get married," as a tipster told People.   

The love story between the Grammy winner and Persuasion actress dates back to 2017, when a People source dished that the two looked “cozy, laughing and affectionate” on a date at Sushi Park in Los Angeles.

In November of that year, Johnson was spotted at a Coldplay show. One month later, several sources confirmed to Us Weekly that they were indeed a couple. The two continued to see each other, enjoying evenings at Soho House, strolls along Malibu's shoreline.
