Dakota Johnson is totally owning the NYC chill with her wardrobe game! The actress strutted her stuff on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, rocking a fab micro mini dress paired with sheer black stockings. She turned the show’s set into her own personal runway, flaunting those long, slender legs like a fashion icon!
To amp up the buzz for her upcoming film, Madame Web, the star of 50 Shades of Grey slayed in a strapless little black dress, perfectly paired with sheer tights. Completing the look, she gracefully stepped into Christian Louboutin ankle-strap pumps, adorned herself with a breathtaking diamond necklace from Belperron (65 carats to be exact), and let her hair flow in loose waves. Fans were obsessed with her LBD, as some claimed: “That little black dress was made for her.”
Dakota Johnson Rocks A LBD For The Tonight Show
All in tune with the latest trends, her makeup featured a sultry smokey eye complemented by subtle nude lips.
Let’s shine a bit more light on her choker because this piece of jewelry absolutely deserves its own moment in the spotlight.
According to the brand’s official Instagram page, the necklace has an interesting history behind it: “For her 10th appearance on The Tonight Show, Dakota Johnson and her stylist Kate Young chose Belperron’s Toggle Torque Necklace, featuring an old mine brilliant cut fancy light-yellow diamond weighing over 65 carats. Only one year after Madame Belperron left the House of Boivin for Herz, Vogue Paris proclaimed, “Let us rejoice: the year 1933 marks a revival in the art of jewelry.” The article featured photographs of Elsa Schiaparelli (yes, the creator of the house of Schiaparelli) modeling her own suite of Belperron’s diamond and black lacquer jewels.”
Dakota Johnson Opens Up About Her Controversial 14-Hour Sleep Schedule
After her statement last year about sleeping 14 hours each night went viral, the 34-year-old is setting the record straight.
During the show, Fallon brought up that widely circulated interview, and Johnson seized the chance to clarify her remarks from the Wall Street Journal interview last December about her sleeping preferences.
In the WSJ interview, the Persuasion alum stated: "I’m not functional if I get less than 10. I can easily go 14 hours."
But she clarified by telling the late-night talk show host, "I didn’t even say it like that. I don’t, like, demand it. I’m not a monster. I have a job," Johnson answered.
