All eyes were on Dakota Johnson when she wowed us with her stunning wardrobe at the Madame Web premieres earlier this year. Now, she’s back at it again for the premiere of her latest movie Daddio at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival.

The 50 Shades of Grey star dazzled in a sheer, strappy cobalt midi dress from Gucci, featuring a lace bodice and neckline. The see-through skirt gave a playful peek at her bottoms. She paired the dress with black criss-cross ankle-strap heels.

Dakota’s glam was on point with a radiant look, showcasing a nude-pink lip, pink blush, and her signature brown hair down with bangs framing her forehead.

Fans went wild for her minimal yet stylish look, showering her with praise in the Instagram comments section.

Daddio is about a woman who hops into a taxi at a New York airport and begins to share the story of her unfortunate choices that led to an affair with a married man. As the ride continues, the driver opens up about his own life, revealing his personal experiences bit by bit.

Dakota Johnson On Why She Chose To Star In Daddio

In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, Dakota, who is engaged to Coldplay star Chris Martin, shared why she decided to take on the role in the film.

She said she was attracted to "the idea of humans being strangers and being so vulnerable with each other and connecting with each other and having a sort of life-altering conversation."

She continued to add, "It felt like a bit of an impossible film. It’s just a story about two people who connect deeply as human beings without judgment, and we just don’t get to see that anymore. We were making the anti-blockbuster."
