Dakota Johnson Talks Madame Web Role
While appearing on the TODAY show, host Hoda Kotb asked the actress what made her decide to partake in Madame Web.
"I never thought that I could be in a superhero movie. I read the script and I was really drawn to the idea of a young woman's superpower being her mind and using that to uplift these three young women, and help them discover their powers," she said.
Madame Web is about Cassandra Webb (Dakota Johnson), a paramedic in the heart of New York City, begins to exhibit signs of clairvoyance. As she grapples with revelations about her own history, she finds herself compelled to shield three young women from a shadowy adversary determined to bring about their demise.
