This summer’s biggest day of savings is just around the corner. Target just announced that its next popular ‘Target Deals Days’ event will start next week, with savings lasting three days. This sale is shaping up to be Target’s biggest summer sale yet, on par with its mega savings event held for Black Friday every November.
“Target Deal Days is bigger and better than ever for all guests, with more days and ways to save, including food and beverage deals this year,” Christina Hennington, Target’s executive vice president and chief growth officer, shared in a press release. “Our industry-leading, safe and easy fulfillment options deliver same-day joy — with no waiting or membership fee required.”
The 2021 Target Deal Days Sale Starts On June 20
Mark your calendars, because savings begin on Sunday, June 20 and last until Tuesday, June 22. This is an entire 24 hours longer than Target Deal Days usually lasts in the summer. In previous years, the retailer only gave us two days of savings instead of three.
Target Deal Days has been happening once annually, though there's no regularity as to when the retailer holds its sale. In 2020, Target Deal Days took place on October 13 and 14, and in 2019 the sale ran on July 15 and 16.
Target Deal Days Is The Retailer's Version of Amazon Prime Day
The one consistent trend we've seen with Target Deal Days is that it runs at the same time as Amazon Prime Day. Target's sale serves as stiff competition for Amazon's digital event, offering incredible markdowns on everything from home and electronics to food and beverage.
And unlike Amazon Prime Day, which only offers discounts to Prime members, Target Deal Days is available to everyone with no extra fees or membership required.
What's On Sale At Target Deal Days 2021>
Target is keeping quiet on specifics of the sale, but we're expecting to see incredible price drops across all categories. We're talking home goods, clothing, electronics, kitchen gadgets, shoes... you name it.
The retailer describes the sale as "deals you'll have to see to believe." They teased, "Think hundreds of thousands of Target.com discounts (and special, limited-time deals) across every shopping category, from electronics and home to essentials, toys, beauty and food and beverage."
How To Get Early Access To Target Deal Days 2021
As mentioned, Target Deal Days is a non-membership event. So savings start on June 20 for all shoppers. But we found a way to get early access to the savings.
From June 16 to June 19, Target is offering 5% off on gift cards purchased online, so you can buy yourself a gift card at a discounted price that can then be used on June 20 for extra savings. For example, if you purchase a $100 gift card on June 16, you'd only be paying $95 for that gift card - yet you'd have $100 to spend on the discounted items during Target Deal Days, getting even more for your money.
Happy savings!
