What Exercises Does Demi Moore Do To Maintain Her Super-Toned Physique?
Demi previously confessed to doing Bikram yoga, a type of hot yoga that helps to improve flexibility, build bone density, reduce stress and depression, and so much more. In 2010, her trainer at the time Gregory Joujon-Roche told InStyle that she had combined the workout with strength training.
The Substance actress also partakes in dance cardio (which is sort of like aerobics!) and told her Instagram followers back in 2019 that she had taken up virtual dance cardio classes after taking a four-year break from exercising.
What Does Demi Moore Eat?
Food wise, the Landman actress doesn't follow any particular weight loss diet, but reportedly sticks to a raw vegan diet that is low in processed foods and consists of vegetables, fruit and legumes.
A-listers such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Megan Fox are reportedly also fans of this type of diet, which according to Everyday Health, fills the body with "loads of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, which may help prevent certain diseases, such as heart disease, obesity, and type 2 diabetes."
Demi has also cut out alcohol, and revealed in her 2019 memoir Inside Out that she had been sober for 20 years. (Although she did admit that she had a beer during that time – we love her for keeping things real with her fans!)
Demi Moore Recalls Doing 'Ridiculous' Things To Lose Weight In The Past
Her current exercise routine sounds a lot better than some of the things the Ghost alum used to do to lose weight. According to Demi herself, she used to have a "ridiculous" exercise routine back in the nineties, especially while she was working on Indecent Proposal shortly after the birth of her second daughter, Scout.
"I put so much pressure on myself. And I did have experiences of being told to lose weight and all of those, while they may have been embarrassing and humiliating, it's what I did to myself because of that," Demi recalled while speaking to Tracy Smith on CBS Sunday Morning last year.
"I think she was, like, 5 or 6 months old when we were shooting," Demi continued, in reference to her daughter. "I was feeding her through the night, getting up in the dark with a trainer with a headlamp, biking all the way to Paramount, even on location where we were shooting, then shooting a full day, which is usually a 12-hour day, and then starting all over again."
"Even just the idea of what I did to my body, it's, like, so crazy, so ridiculous," she continued. "But you look back and you kind of go, 'Did it really matter that much?' Probably not, but at the time I made it mean everything."
