Mugler was known for his bold, sultry and stunning work, and Moore’s dress was no exception! Moore rocking a dress that was so sexy and revealing yet simultaneously tasteful and elegant made it a beloved film costume piece, and so memorable thirty years later.

As you might recall, Moore wore the dress— the floor-length frock with intricate, criss-crossed chest, shoulder and upper-body cut-outs— in the 1993 drama film, Indecent Proposal. In the opening scene, Moore’s character is in awe of the dress and wants to try it on. When she did, it was apparent how well it suited her— showing off her toned upper arms, décolletage, svelte figure and gorgeous curves.
