Going out to eat at a restaurant is always a great way to spend an evening, but it’s usually not the best move for your diet. We all know that home cooking is the best way to take charge of every food and ingredient you eat, but it is okay to indulge yourself on a night out once every week or so. It’s just important you pay careful attention to everything you order off the menu, because there are some foods that are even worse for you than you might think.

A nutritionist recently revealed what the absolute worst restaurant dessert order is, and it is unfortunately also the most delicious. But after hearing what she said, we will never order this again.

According to Julie Cunningham, MPH, RD, LDN, CDE, IBCLC of Julie Cunningham Nutrition LLC, you should never order an oreo cheesecake for dessert ever again.

The expert told MSN, "Cheesecake definitely makes the cut for the worst dessert. A restaurant-sized portion typically has more than 300 calories and is loaded with sugar and artery-clogging fat."

And she isn't wrong - the Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory has 1,630 calories, 98 grams of fat, 57 grams of saturated fat and 135 grams of sugar. That's 75% of your daily recommended caloric intake, more than your daily recommended fat intake and more than five times your daily recommended sugar intake.

While you don't need to cut out dessert completely to stay healthy, you should always pay careful attention to the sweets you eat. And something with over 1,000 calories per serving is never a good option.
