Dianna Agron Finally Responds To Past Taylor Swift Dating Rumors
If you cast your minds back to 2012 and Taylor's 2012 album, Red, you may recall that Dianna was mentioned in Taylor's liner notes for the song "22," alongside other female friends such as Selena Gomez, Ashley Avignone, and Claire Kislinger. But what does it mean? More than one decade later, Dianna finally responded to the rumors in an interview with Rolling Stone.
When asked if she was the inspiration for "22," Dianna said, "Me? Oh, if only! That's more because of a friendship than being the inspiration for the song." She then continued: "But I would not be the person to ask about that. I cannot claim that!" And when she was asked whether she was ever in a romantic relationship with the Grammy winner, she simply said: "That is so interesting. I mean, there have been many stories about my dating life that are so wildly untrue. That’s funny." It may not be the *direct* yes or no answer fans waited over ten years for, but her response to the rumor is definitely something! Maybe Taylor herself will be the one to finally confirm or deny the rumors and put fans out of their misery!
Dianna Agron Previously Addressed Tim Tebow And Taylor Swift Love Triangle Rumors
That wasn’t the only time rumors about Dianna and Taylor being romantically involved swirled. Ten years ago, Jimmy Kimmel asked the As They Made Us actress whether she was in a love triangle with Taylor Swift and American footballer Tim Tebow, which she vehemently denied.
"How does Taylor Swift work into this love triangle?" Jimmy asked, to which Dianna jokingly replied, "I don’t know." "Are you dating her?" Jimmy asked again, to which Dianna replied, "No. Wouldn’t that be juicy?" She then said, "Hi Taylor," while looking at the camera, and blew her a kiss.
Taylor Swift And Matty Healy Dating Rumors
Fast forward to 2023, and the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer's fans are focusing their attention on those Taylor and Matty Healy rumors, as they're looking less like rumors and more like hard truth! According to The Sun, the "Love Story" hitmaker is "madly in love" with the "About You" singer after their long-term friendship allegedly blossomed into a romantic relationship.
They have supported each other in more ways than one over the years since meeting in 2014. Taylor famously wore a 1975 T-shirt around that time, while Matty returned the favor and sported a shirt with Taylor's 1989 album cover art at a concert shortly after.
They have since performed live together and commended each other’s music, with reports earlier this month even claiming that Matty flew over 17 hours to watch Taylor perform in Nashville (there's video evidence of him enjoying a performance of "Shake It Off" above!) so it's not hard to believe the rumors that their friendship has blossomed into a romantic relationship. We can't wait for the official confirmation, which we expect will come any day now!
