G.O. Corporation of Minneapolis, MN just issued a recall for 11,500 pounds of romaine lettuce and accompanying salad mixes due to the potential presence of deer feces, which could transmit several illnesses such as E.coli.
As Food Safety News reports, the recall, which was started on June 16, 2023, still remains active and the lettuce products have been distributed to Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin.
The outlet listed all affected product codes, bags and other information, and stressed that consumers who have acquired the recalled lettuce items should discard them promptly and not consume them.
