Paparazzi snapped photos of Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock leaving a reputable plastic surgery office in Greenwich, Connecticut last week, as seen in photos obtained by The Daily Mail. The facility, known as The Retreat At Split Rock, fully accredited and private, specializes in various surgical procedures, including upper and lower face lifts, brow and eye lifts, as well as injectables like Botox and Kybella.
The two actresses were seen exiting the office of Dr. Neil A Gordon, who oversees facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a specialty in facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty.
Earlier this year, Aniston’s attendance at the January 2024 Critics Choice Awards sparked rumors of plastic surgery, with fans speculating about any differences in her appearance over the past year. In a recent YouTube video, plastic surgeon and expert Dr. Gary Linkov weighed in on the speculation, analyzing any potential changes made to Aniston’s face over the past year.
Did Jennifer Aniston Undergo A Plastic Surgery Procedure In The Past Year? A Surgeon Weighs In
"People are talking about Jennifer Aniston," Linkov began his video, sharing video snippets of the Friends alum, 55, on the Critics Choice Awards red carpet. "When I compare back to photos from years past to now, what I'm seeing that looks a little bit different [about Aniston's look] is the brows. To me, they look very different," he explained.
"It looks like the lateral brow has been lifted in the past year or so, possibly with a brow lift procedure," Linkov noted. He then pulled up clips of the Morning Show star's recent Uber Eats commercial. "Also the area around the eyes, where the crow's feet are for example, do look like they have some Botox in them," he went on.
However, Linkov noted: "the forehead looks like it has not been targeted much with Botox," You can "see the eyebrow is able to move up, but the area around the eyes, laterally, looks like maybe she had some Botox there," he continued.
"The other element that I see here is that possibly her philtrum is getting a bit longer, and so you're seeing some changes in the lower face as well," Linkov pointed out.
While Aniston hasn't responded to these Botox and filler accusations, rumors like these, or those about her reportedly getting a nose job for aesthetic reasons are nothing new. A representative for the Murder Mystery 2 star told Us Weekly in 2018 that she got her deviated septum corrected (to help her sleep) with rhinoplasty.
The source dished to the publication that Aniston needed to "correct a deviated septum that was incorrectly done over 12 years ago," meaning that she did undergo a nose-related plastic surgery procedure before that. Aniston opened up about this for the first time in 2007, in an interview with People Magazine.
"It’s funny. I had [a deviated septum] fixed – best thing I ever did. I slept like a baby for the first time in years," she explained. "As far as all the other [rumors], as boring as it sounds, it’s still mine. All of it. Still mine."
The Emmy winner has shot down rumors that she underwent breast augmentation or got Botox or fillers as well. In a 2006 interview, she stressed: "No boob job! You know what it’s called? It’s called 10 pounds."
The Just Go With It alum added: "Here’s what it is, this is the funny thing, you’re either, ‘Oh, look at the bump,’ and they circle the bump and there’s an arrow. But instead, it’s like, you know, maybe a couple cheese plates too many."
Regarding the topic of Botox and fillers, Aniston told Harper's Bazaar Australia in 2014: "There is this pressure in Hollywood to be ageless."
"I think what I have been witness to, is seeing women trying to stay ageless with what they are doing to themselves. I am grateful to learn from their mistakes because I am not injecting s—t into my face."
The We're the Millers star continued: "I see them and my heart breaks. I think, ‘Oh god, if you only know how much older you look.’ They are trying to stop the clock, and all you can see is an insecure person who won’t let themselves just age."
