Donald Trump Calls Kamala Harris Beautiful And Says She Looks Like His Wife
While the interview between the two celebrities was supposed to be about X Spaces, a new way to have live audio conversations on X, the conversation took an interesting turn when Trump started out by calling Kamala Harris "terrible," before pivoting to discuss her cover story for Time Magazine.
"I saw a picture of [Harris] on Time magazine today," he said. "She looks like the most beautiful actress ever to live," he said. "Actually, she looked very much like our great first lady, Melania." He then doubled back, saying, "She didn’t look like Kamala, that’s right. But of course, she’s a beautiful woman, so we’ll leave it at that."
The portrait in question is an illustration done by artist Neil Jamieson based on a real image owned by Getty. It is accompanied by a story discussing Harris's new dominance in the United States political scene. "Within a week, Harris erased Trump’s polling dominance in key states, turning a burgeoning landslide into a dead heat,” the piece notes.

Users on X were pretty appalled by Trump's comments about Harris, with one user writing,"Trump, the Ultimate Weirdo, said that Kamala Harris is beautiful and looks like Melania...WTF? I mean is this not a full blown Creeper Alert?
"Trump is just trying to creep Harris out," another person suggested. "It's a ploy."
"He's sucking up for a pardon later!" one person joked.
"A couple weeks ago, Trump called Kamala Harris a f***ing b*tch, last night he called her 'a beautiful woman,'" another user pointed out. "An improvement, for sure, but, honestly, is he insane?"
"Does anyone else think it's strange and creepy that Trump said Kamala is beautiful during his Spaces session tonight?" another person asked. "He calls her names constantly, then tonight said she is as beautiful as an actress."
"Honestly, whether it's strange or creepy or weird or nice doesn't matter," a final user pointed out. "It's inappropriate."
