Despite being involved in multiple lawsuits lately—defamation and civil fraud to name a few—Donald Trump is reportedly “totally convinced” that he will pull out a win in the 2024 presidential election. In fact, according to an insider, many of those close to him are “already treating him like he’s the president.” Keep reading for more details.
Donald Trump Is 'Predicting A Landslide'
After winning the Iowa caucus and beating other Republican candidate Nikki Haley in the New Hampshire primary, Donald Trump is feeling pretty good about his chances of being reelected in November. A source close to the former president says, "Trump's on top of the world right now. Everyone [at his private club, Mar-a-Lago] is already treating him like he's the president in Florida."
"He's totally convinced he's on the path to winning the presidency again," the source continued. "He's very upbeat. He's elated... he's already predicting a landslide in the entire country to aides and friends."
Trump Is 'Convinced' Of Victory Despite Various Legal Battles
While most presidential hopefuls might be deterred by numerous involvements in legal battles, it doesn't seem to phase Donald Trump. The 77-year-old is actually facing 91 felony charges across four states and is involved in multiple lawsuits. He's also recently lost a number of them as well, having been ordered to pay over $80M to author E. Jean Carroll for defaming her character.
He's also been found guilty of fraud in the civil fraud trial raised by NY Attorney General Letita James, and the trial is ongoing to decide what penalties the former president and his associates should receive. But, according to a poll done by the New York Times/Siena College in late December, 70% of Trump supporters believe he should still be the Republican nominee regardless of if he is convicted of criminal activity.
