Their sisters Ivanka Trump – who was former White House senior advisor during the presidency – and Tiffany Trump, on the other hand, have still yet to show their faces. Melania Trump has also yet to make an appearance in court, which most people would forgive her for given the nature of the trial.
Social media has commented on the former First Lady being "nowhere to be found," with one X user previously saying: "No one expects Melania to show up. She loathes him almost as much as we do." Another previously quipped: "This many court appearances wasn't in her contract."
Donald Trump Jr. Makes A Speech Outside Court And Calls The Trial 'An Absolute Farce'
Donald Trump Jr. made a short speech outside the court, saying he felt he had to make an appearance to "witness the Bolshevik Show Trials" for himself. "What's going on here is an absolute farce, and anyone in America should be embarrassed at the absolute miscarriage of justice that we're seeing here," the 46-year-old said.
"There's no crime," he continued. "The only problem is the witnesses who are experts in these things aren't allowed to actually testify to that because we have a rigged system." He added: "This is setting a disastrous precedent for our legal system and for justice in America."
Eric Trump Supports His Father Through Hush Money Trial
Donald Trump Jr. isn't the only one of Trump's children to vocalize his thoughts on the trial. Earlier this month Eric Trump took to X to claim that the trial as a whole wasn't valid. "Pure EXTORTION!!!!!" he wrote on May 7th.
However, his X post came under fire and he found himself widely mocked for his useless, and quite frankly untrue, commentary. "Hey Eric, why was there an NDA in the first place?" one person asked in the comments section, adding: "The American people had a right to know who your daddy was before the 2016 election."
"No Eric. It's pure election interference! Your dad didn't want this story getting out before the election, period," claimed another. "Pure stupidity," another said, while someone else exclaimed: "More like Pure Karma!" "Your father is guilty of extortion!" wrote one user. "Who taught you how to spell extortion?" quipped another, adding: "You actually got it right!"
