Donald Trump Says He Will Be A Dictator ‘On Day One’ Of Presidency And Biden Says ‘America Should Believe Him’

A taken-aback Hannity asked for clarification, and Trump followed with, "I want to close the border, and I want to drill, drill, drill."

He then doubled down on this statement, and said of Hannity, "I love this guy. He says, 'You're not going to be a dictator are you?' I said, 'No, no, no, other than day one." Donald Trump has said that he would "weaponize" the FBI in the past, on a Nov. 9th television appearance. The host asked him "You say they've weaponized the justice department, they weaponized the FBI. Would you do the same if you’re re-elected?"

And without hesitation, Trump said that he would: They’ve already done it, but if they want to follow through on this, yeah, it could certainly happen in reverse. They’ve released the genie out of the box," he said. He continued: "If I happen to be president and I see somebody who’s doing well and beating me very badly, I say go down and indict them, mostly they would be out of business. They’d be out. They’d be out of the election."

President Joe Biden's Response

Donald Trump has said a number of alarming things in his bid for presidency, and the Biden-Harris campaign has pointed them out and is using them in their own campaign against him. "Donald Trump has been telling us exactly what he will do if he’s reelected and tonight he said he will be a dictator on day one. Americans should believe him,” Biden-Harris campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez said in a statement.

But Donald Trump is not worried about Joe Biden winning the 2024 presidential election. He told Sean Hannity, "“I personally don’t think he makes it physically. Mentally I would say he’s possibly equally as bad and maybe worse."

As the New Year draws closer, only time will tell who will be the next potential candidates for presidency. With Trump's many lawsuits, who knows if he'll even be allowed to run.
