Donald Trump has been found guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records, making him the first and only former president to be convicted of a crime, and he set the bar high, with felony crimes. Apparently, though, it’s lonely being the only person in that club, and he’s announced that if he is re-elected as president, he’s going to attempt to add more members, saying last Friday it’s “very possible” he’ll imprison his political opponents. Donald Trump Says It's 'Very Possible' He'll Imprison Political Opponents
Since his conviction, Trump has spoken to numerous news outlets, and has said some pretty concerning things. "Look, when this election is over, based on what they’ve done, I would have every right to go after them, and it would be easy because it's Joe Biden," he told Fox News’ Sean Hannity when pressed on whether he would use the justice system to go after his political opponents.
“It’s a terrible, terrible path that they’re leading us to, and it’s very possible that it’s going to have to happen to them,” Trump said in an interview with Newsmax on a separate occasion.
Speaking of his own conviction, he said, "It's a very terrible thing. It's a terrible precedent for our country. Does that mean the next president does it to them? That's really the question," he told Newsmax. What he plans on imprisoning Joe Biden or any other political opponents for remains unclear.

The logical thing to do if a former president says he may imprison his political opponents simply because he himself was convicted of felonies is to not reelect him, but Donald Trump has also stated what he may do if he doesn't win the election—and it's dangerous.

Which is when Trump shockingly responded, "If we don't win, you know, it depends. It always depends on the fairness of an election." This isn't the first time that Trump has hinted at using violence. Last year, he wrote on his Truth Social account (a Twitter-like site that Trump has to use because he was banned from Twitter due to his incitement of violence) that if he was found guilty of any of the four criminal indictments he's been facing, there would be "death & destruction." Well, he's been convicted, so...
