Donald Trump is used to – known for, some might say – making jokes at other people’s expense. However, he somewhat uncharacteristically stepped in when Sean Hannity was joking about President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline during a town hall meeting in Iowa that was hosted by the Fox News host, telling him that it’s actually a “serious problem.”
President Joe Biden’s health has been discussed quite a lot over the past few months, and will most likely continue to be a hot topic of discussion now that he is seeking re-election.
Donald Trump Tells Sean Hannity Not To Joke About Joe Biden's Cognitive Ability
According to Business Insider, the 77-year-old twice-impeached former president said that he told the Fox News host not to joke about Biden's age-related cognitive ability. Earlier that day, President Biden, 80, had fallen at the Air Force Academy commencement ceremony, which Trump and Hannity briefly discussed. "It's sad," Trump said, adding, "That was a bad fall."
"Does anyone agree with me that this guy is cognitively not there? I doubt he knows what day of the week it is today," Hannity said, to which Trump responded with quite an unexpected reply.
"I asked Sean not to joke about it. Because he used to joke about it," Trump said. "And I said, honestly, I don't think it looks good for you or for anybody for you to joke about it because it's a serious problem." Trump then went on to say, "You can speak about it if you want, but I don't think you should joke about it."

Trump also briefly showed some concern for his political rival after his bicycle accident in June 2022. "I hope he has recovered because, as you know, he fell off his bicycle today," Trump said at the time, while speaking at his American Freedom Tour in Memphis. "No, I'm serious. I hope he's okay. He fell off a bicycle," Trump added.
