Donald Trump has weighed in on the crisis in Ukraine. During an 84-minute-long speech at a Republican fundraiser in New Orleans on Saturday, March 5th, the former president suggested putting Chinese flags on US fighter jets and sending them to “bomb the [expletive] out of Russia.”
“And then we say, China did it, we didn’t do it, China did it, and then they start fighting with each other and we sit back and watch,” the 75-year-old continued, according to The Washington Post.
It’s Guilfoyle’s birthday, so Junior got into the party supplies early. He claims that daddy only praised Putin and Kim because he was using psychological warfare on them: “He knew exactly how to play these guys, and he played them like a fiddle!” pic.twitter.com/4otuhtECKX

Trump’s March 5th comments appear to be a complete 180 to his previous comments about Russia and Vladimir Putin, as just last month, he called Putin’s plans “genius,” and said that Putin was “smart,” “savvy,” and “brilliant.” Trump said on February 23rd: “I mean, he’s taking over a country for two dollars’ worth of sanctions. I’d say that’s pretty smart.”
However, during a five-minute rant posted to online video platform, Rumble, on Wednesday, March 9th, titled, The Truth: Trump Proved Everyone Wrong About Russia, Donald Trump Jr insisted that his father’s praise of Putin and Russia were simply part of his “psychological warfare,” and the comments were actually very calculated. The 44-year-old said his father “knew how to deal with powerful men,” and also “knew that flattering that man [Putin] would get you a lot more than calling him out and embarrassing him on a world stage.” Trump Jr added: “He knew exactly how to play these guys, and he played them like a fiddle!”
