Although Donald Trump is no Joe Biden fan, he is reportedly extremely unhappy with his decision to drop out of the 2024 presidential race.

When Biden, 81, announced that he had withdrawn from the presidential race on Sunday, July 21st, saying the decision was “in the best interest of my party and the country,” he endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, 59, to take his place. This has reportedly made Trump, 78, and his team extremely unhappy, as it means they will likely have to rethink their campaign depending on who their new opponent is.

Donald Trump Is Reportedly 'Scared' Of Kamala Harris' Youth

"This will suck tons of oxygen out of the room. Trump's touchdown spotlight will dim for a while," a source reportedly told People, before another insider referenced how Trump is a little "scared" that Harris, who he has cruelly dubbed "Laffin" Kamala Harris, has youth on her side.

"He says he can topple Kamala Harris as easily as he could topple Biden, but down deep he is scared of her youth," another insider in Florida told the pub.

"Of course she may not be the candidate, but if she is, he is also aware of her political and legal brilliance and deep understanding of the issues facing the American people," they added.

The Trump campaign "clearly thought they could beat President Biden," Dave Aronberg, a former member of the Florida state Senate, dished to People, before going on to say that they aren't so sure about the possibility of facing the current Vice President.

He added: "This is why they have been attacking the Democratic Party for looking at alternatives and even threatening litigation to prevent a change. That says it all."

Kamala Harris Is Believed To Be The Frontrunner To Replace Joe Biden, And Raises $100M In Under 36 Hours

Harris, who many believe is the frontrunner to replace Biden, said she was "honored" to have Biden's endorsement, adding "my intention is to earn and win this nomination."

"I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party – and unite our nation – to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda," she continued, adding: "We have 107 days until Election Day. Together, we will fight. And together, we will win."

And it seems like Harris has gotten off to a good start, as she reportedly raised $100M in under 36 hours! According to reports, her campaign said on Tuesday morning that it had raised more than $100M between Sunday afternoon and Monday evening. According to CBS News, Harris' campaign said it raised $81M in donations in the 24 hours after Biden announced that he had withdrawn, adding that it was the largest amount of money raised in a 24-hour span in presidential history.
