Viewers Think Drew Barrymore ‘Crossed A Boundary’ During Her Latest Interview: ‘I Wish She Would Stop Touching People’

Drew Barrymore is under fire for being too “touchy” with the guests she invites onto her show, The Drew Barrymore Show. Most recently, Oprah Winfrey cozied up with Drew on set, and in a video posted to Instagram by @DrewBarrymore and @TheDrewBarrymoreShow, everyone can see just how up close and personal the 50 First Dates actress got with Oprah. Fans are now calling out Drew for “crossing a boundary.” Keep reading for more information.

In the clip posted to Instagram, the pair are having a conversation about the importance of engaging with the audience during their shows. As they talk, Drew interlocks her fingers with Oprahs with one hand and holds it close to her chest, and with the other, she caresses Oprah’s forearm.

Oprah even appears to try and take her arm away from Drew as she adjusts her position on the couch, but Drew holds on tight to her hand, not letting her go. Oprah eventually takes her hand from Drew as she emphasizes her story with her hands, but even as she does this, Drew has her hands on Oprah’s forearm, elbow, and biceps.

Though Oprah has since said to TMZ, “I was not uncomfortable at all,” fans still think Drew needs a lesson in personal space.
