Drew Barrymore is an open book, and even more so since The Drew Barrymore Show debuted in September of last year. But despite being the well-known actress she is, Barrymore still has to deal with the pains of dating and rejection, admitting that she got stood up for a date that she scheduled through a popular celebrity dating app. Ouch!

Barrymore revealed the painful memory to comedian Nikki Glaser on last Monday’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, explaining that she had struggled to find someone of interest on the app and once she did, “He stood me up at the exact time we were supposed to meet. I was like, can’t you be a jerk like an hour before, that would have been such a time saver.”

The 45-year-old actress went on to explain that it wasn’t even the action that bothered her, it was the timing. “I know that happens all the time, I was more miffed that it was like at 3, when we were supposed to meet. I’m like, just do that at 2. I felt so stupid,” she said.

The mother of two admitted that being on the dating apps made her feel even more self-conscious once she saw the other women vying for the same men. Barrymore lamented, “It was all beautiful women in bikinis and at the same time like I’m like you know, this is my body, I made two babies, I’m working with what I’ve got.”

It’s comforting to know that even the most famous celebrities still suffer from the same dating woes as the rest of the population. With that being said, hopefully Drew has a little more success in the coming months--nobody deserves to be stood up!
