After all the money you've spent on topical treatments, you'd probably like a cheaper cure for your thinning hair. If so, listen up. According to dermatologists, simply consuming raw vegetables can be even more effective in promoting hair growth than applying over-the-counter products. Here, we reveal the one juice blend you should try this week to reverse sparse locks for good.

And the winner is...carrot juice! Carrots are a great source of biotin, a vitamin that is essential for hair growth. Half a cup of carrots contains around 20 percent of our recommended daily intake of biotin, so making juice with a full bag of carrots can easily help you hit the mark!

Carrots are also high in beta cartenoids, antioxidants that prevent hair loss and encourage new strands to form. In the body, they are coverted into vitamin A, which helps stengthen dull, lifeless locks.

Other present vitamins like Vitamins B and C increase sebum oils and add density to hair follicles. So by drinking carrot juice, your mane will not only grow longer, but will become thicker and healthier in the process, too!

Well, looks like it's time to stock up on carrots and pull out the blender!
