It's no longer necessary to shell out lots of money on a quality eye cream — some of the msot effective ant-aging creams can be found at your local drugstore. But with so many new brands on the market, it can be tempting to think they're all the same. There's one type of drugstore eye cream no one should use anymore — because the affordable competition out there is fierce.

The Worst Drugstore Eye Creams

If your drugstore eye cream makes you eyes burn or sting, toss it — the very thought of placing any product around the eyes that isn't safe for sensitive eyes is outdated no longer acceptable (assuming it ever was). Today's quality eye creams are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and ingredients like retinol that repair the delicate skin around your eyes, help minimize the appearance of sun damage, and prevent future signs of aging. If your eye cream is simply hydrating, but lacks effective ingredients that can make a big difference in your skin, you might as well be using olive oil around your eyes.

In other words: you can do better.

A Great Choice: Dr. Brandt Glow Invigorating Retinol Eye Cream

Retinol is a less intense form of prescription-based Retin-A, but it's still an effective anti-aging ingredient that can reduce the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation. As the key ingredient in Dr. Brandt Glow Invigorating Retinol Eye Cream, this cream softens the skin around your eyes, improves circulation to help with dark circles, and deals with redness, inflammation, and dryness with its ultra hydrating formula.
