Can She Get Any Hotter?! Dua Lipa Rocks A Black Micro Mini Dress On Instagram And Fans Are Losing It!
May 4, 2022 by Marissa Matozzo
Dua Lipa is an enduring style icon who is spearheading the current Y2K revival, frequently looking as if she stepped out of a time machine from the 90s. The “Levitating” singer, 26, went gothic in her Instagram post last week, and gave us major Matrix nostalgia as she paired a micro black mini dress with a long trench coat over it along with sexy sheer tights.
The “Don’t Start Now” hitmaker donned a look straight off the runway (would we expect anything less from the trendsetter?) as her long, alluring coat and fitted shirt (that she creatively wore as a dress) are both from the Corrèges Spring 2022 Ready-to-Wear Collection. Lipa’s button-down dress featured a Wednesday Addams-like collar along with front pockets and shoulder detailing. Its micro hemline was paired with tights that were tucked into thigh-high boots, delivering a chic and elegant monochromatic ensemble. Her other major highlight from the look was the shiny long coat worn over the short dress— perfect for transitional season styling.
The stunner slicked her long, dark brown locks into a tight high bun and went for a minimal makeup look, enhancing her natural beauty with a coral and subtle lip color. The superstar accessorized with dangly gold Swarovski earrings, specifically the ‘Dextera Chain Link Drop’ pair, to elevate her outfit even more. She also slipped on several chunky rings and pulled off a sharp, shimmering violet manicure. So cute!
Lipa shared her get-up with her 82.7 million IG followers in a gorgeous photo collection. Lipa captioned her pics with a cute alien emoji and gave us 4 different angles and views of her outfit. To say that fans were impressed with this look would be an understatement, as her post garnered well over 1 million likes and thousands of comments of approval. “Yesss I love the all-black look,” wrote one fan while others summed up our exact thoughts with multiple fire and heart-eye emojis. Bring on the 90s spring inspo, Dua!
