As Dua Lipa made her way into Paris last week, the pop superstar unveiled a striking new hair color. Gone were her usual sleek black tresses, replaced with a bold and fiery cherry red.
The “Dance the Night” singer’s entourage joined her she arrived at Gare du Nord station in the City of Love, where she was captured by paparazzi flashing a wide and infectious smile.
Some fans on social media have been theorizing that Lipa’s new hairdo might be related to upcoming music that she has been teasing.
Others have deemed her to be “almost unrecognizable” or “double take worthy” with her new crimson tresses and many have also pointed out how much the hue suits the style icon.

After showing off her new hair color in public and online, Lipa (who has also rocked platinum blonde and rich brown hair in the past) also recently wiped her social media accounts. On October 12th, the Grammy winner shared a shot of herself taken by photographer Tyrone Lebon with red locks. She captioned it: “miss me?”
This is currently the only post on her Instagram account, something her 88.7 million followers instantly took note of. “I’M ALREADY IN LOVE WITH DL3 ERA,” one wrote regarding her upcoming third studio album. Another added: “DL3 IS GONNA BE INSAAAAAANE.”

She shared: “I think it’s a marketing tool: How confessional can you be? I also don’t put so much of my life out there for people to dig into the music in this weird, analytical way.”
