Dua Lipa Is Almost Unrecognizable In New Versace Ads–Fans Can’t Believe Their Eyes!
September 7, 2021 by Merrell Readman
Versace just released their collection of new fall/winter runway styles for 2021 fashion week, and Dua Lipa hardly looked like her typical raven-haired self as she modelled the new line in a flowing red wig complete with bangs. The 26-year-old singer gushed over her involvement with the brand in her recent Instagram caption, above which she shared the series of shots, and it’s undeniable that a red ‘do could certainly be in Lipa’s future.
The images, which were released to social media last Thursday, showed off Versace’s Fashion Week 2021 collection–an intimate preview as New York fashion week has just begun. Lipa can be seen rocking designs from the runway collection, wearing a long red wig that perfectly compliments her olive skin as she poses in the bright and patterned looks.
The singer shared the images to her own Instagram, writing, “+ VERSACE FW21 + life is but a dream… thank you @donatella_versace @versace for believing in me!!!” Donatella Versace, the chief creative officer of the brand, quickly commented on Lipa’s post, writing, “I am screaming and jumping with excitement!!!!”
Lipa has been known to switch up her look from time to time, but the long red locks she wore for the Versace campaign were by far the most dramatic change to date. The 26-year-old singer currently styles her naturally dark hair flowing down her back with a middle part. However, the bangs were a nice compliment to her delicate features, grazing her dark eyebrows as she pouted with a series of new Versace bags.
Lipa is the face of the FW21 collection as fashion week heats up, and the singer posted a number of stills and videos to her social media to celebrate her role in the collection. In a promotional video she shared in which she rocks a sleek black outfit and towering platform heels, Versace thanked the 26-year-old, writing in the comments, “Thank you for being you, Dua [heart emoji] You are the definition of a modern superstar.”
