Dunkin is notorious for adding the most unique food and drink items to the menu – and despite how insane the options often seem, they’re pretty much always amazing.
We’ve seen the chain add things as unusual as ghost peppers to doughnuts, yet it worked! And now, Dunkin has surprised us once again with an even more insane new menu item.
Dunkin's latest innovation is a sweet drink that has bubbles that literally pop in your mouth. And, these bubbles can be added to almost any iced or frozen drink on their menu.
Aptly called "Popping Bubbles," this drink add-on has been described as being similar to bubble tea.
Popping Bubbles have a strawberry flavor, that is perfect for summer. Sweet, refreshing and playful - thanks to their popping effect.
Even though you can add these bubbles to anything, Dunkin recommends having them with something from their Refreshers line. The strawberry flavor pairs well with the Dunkin Coconut Refreshers and Lemonade.
“As the destination for flavorful beverages to keep folks running all season long, we’re kicking off summer with something extra fun by offering our guests Strawberry Popping Bubbles," Jill Nelson, Dunkin's Vice President of Marketing & Culinary, said in a press release. "With an exciting explosion of strawberry flavor, Popping Bubbles are a new way to make favorite Dunkin’ iced or frozen drinks even cooler.”
