Coffee chains like Dunkin’ and Starbucks see an influx of customers every September when they roll out their new fall menu, which, of course, is great for business. Except, though, when the items on the fall menu fall flat, stirring up complaints in customers who then post about it online. Dunkin’ is the latest to fall victim to underperforming when it comes to their new fall menu, and customers are letting them know online, calling their coffee “absolutely horrid.” Keep reading for more information.

Dunkin' Customer Complains Of 'Burnt Flavor'

One customer who had a particularly bad experience recently is @Dreachelle_ on Twitter. "@DunkinDonuts this location keeps having issues," she said of the Chandler Boulevard location in Phoenix, Arizona. She posted a screenshot of her order, a bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel, a side of hash browns, a pumpkin muffin, and the Original Blend iced coffee, which she modified to add two creams, three pumps of vanilla sweetener, and three pumps of the seasonal Pumpkin Swirl sweetener.

"Today, my coffee is absolutely horrid," she continued in her tweet. "It tastes so burnt, zero pumpkin flavor, NO ice in my iced coffee. I'm actually very bummed how awful this was today." And unfortunately, according to other customers posting about their experiences, she's not the only one drinking bad coffee.

Customers Are Furious

The fall menu at Dunkin' is supposed to spark joy, not angry tweets! Unfortunately, there's a lot more where that came from: "I'm really let down by the Dunkin' fall menu this year," one person tweeted. "The quality just isn't there."

"Hate to say it but Starbucks outdid themselves this year," another person wrote. "Dunkin' just missed the mark."

"They way I couldn't even finish my pumpkin swirl latte the other day," another person said in response.

"Is it just me or is the Dunkin' coffee just not good anymore?" one user asked. "It's like.. burnt and chemical-y?"

"Well I tried Dunkin' and I tried Starbucks and unfortunately it looks like this fall is going to be a little more expensive for me," a final customer posted. "At least Starbucks delivers good coffee for the absurd price they charge."
