The beloved American coffee chain is considering plant-based options as result of a "growing customer demand" for vegan alternatives, the executive confirms.

Yes, you read that right--Hoffman finally confirmed that a “viable vegan donut option” is being explored by the company, and might be hitting stores shortly. "We are looking at it closely," he said, stunning animal advocates and vegan eaters of all kinds (specifically, the kind that love donuts).

“You’re going to continue to see us put more consumer choice on the menu,” Hoffman answered a question from Rachel Pawelski, campaigner for animal advocacy organization Animal Outlook. This is huge news!
