There’s nothing quite like an ice-cold coffee on a hot day—especially when that iced coffee comes from Dunkin’ (I mean, have you heard about their new flavor?!). Now, luckily for customers who love to sip on coffee and make the world a better place, Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day is back—in fact, it’s today!
If you’re unfamiliar with what, exactly, Dunkin’ Iced Coffee Day entails, don’t fret. We’re here to give you all the details below.
Dunkin Iced Coffee Day
Have you ever wished you could drink coffee while simultaneously making a difference in the lives of others without having to lift a finger? Dunkin' is making that possible with their annual Iced Coffee Day.
That's right: Earlier this month, the coffee chain announced that for every iced coffee purchased on May 23 (that's today!), they'll donate $1 to their Joy in Childhood Foundation, which will go towards children in hospitals.
"Our commitment to giving back is stronger than ever, as countless children across the country face illnesses that no child should endure. That’s why the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation and Dunkin’ teamed up again this year to create our own Iced Coffee Day, pouring our hearts into every cup and bringing joy to kids in need," Dunkin' franchisee Victor Carvalho said.
"Guests who purchase an iced coffee on May 23 will be sipping with a purpose and supporting kids in their own communities. We look forward to helping our guests bring a little extra joy with America’s hardest working iced coffee."
Last year's Dunkin' Day was certain a success; thanks to all the iced coffees purchased, the franchise donated $1.8 million to the foundation to grant wishes to 93 children and fund art, music, and therapy programs, along with specialized summer camps, adaptive equipment, special events, and so much more.

Plus, there's one more thing to look forward to today; Dunkin notes that "in select cities, guests will be in for a delightful surprise as Dunkin’ welcomes some friendly faces into the restaurant to lend a hand at their local registers on May 23, taking their iced coffee order with a smile."
So whether you want to catch a glimpse of a "friendly face" or just want to give back in a small way, there's never been a better day to order an iced coffee—or two, or three. After all, coffee is good for you!
(P.S. if you're in the mood for making multiple stops, you might as well get your hands on these new Starbucks drinks, too. But you didn't hear that from us.)
