Dunkin’ has just released it’s own Iced Lemon Loaf Cake—and fans are saying it gives Starbucks‘ popular version of the sweet and citrusy bakery treat a run for its money!
A New Offering For Summer
The new Iced Lemon Loaf Cake was released on April 26th with two other fresh menu additions: the Ham & Swiss Croissant Stuffer and the Butter Pecan Donut.
The Iced Lemon Loaf Cake features rich lemon cake topped with sweet lemon icing—made with real lemon juice—and served prepackaged in individual wrappers to ensure a tender, moist crumb.
The other new offerings sound tasty as well: the Ham & Swiss Croissant Stuffer features a flaky croissant filled with ham and Swiss cheese, topped with a sprinkle of shredded cheese and served warm. The Butter Pecan Donut joins the returning Butter Pecan Iced Coffee with a classic yeast donut shell filled with butter pecan buttercream, topped with vanilla icing and a sweet butternut topping.

Fans Comment: 'Better Than Starby's!'
On a TikTok announcing the product, fans have already begun to give their official reviews following a taste test. Many have compared it favorably to Starbucks' famous Iced Lemon Loaf. "Better than Starby's!" announced one fan of the new Dunkin' treat. "Starbucks dupe," commented several accounts. "Cheaper than the [Starbucks] one and tastes the same," wrote one happy taster.
"If it's as good as the Starbucks one I'm sold," reasoned another TikToker. "It's so good try it," insisted a response. Other commenters disagreed, calling it "not good" and stating it was "dryer" than Starbucks' version, but the prevailing opinion seemed to be it was worth a taste: "I thought it was better than [Starbucks]," insisted one TikToker.
Maybe Dunkin's competitor might want to heed the (lighthearted) warning one TikTok commenter left on the video: "Starbucks better watch out, Dunkin' coming for them."
