Ellen DeGeneres has had a rough year already, and the talkshow host just announced she has also tested positive for coronavirus.
DeGeneres made the announcement on social media, posting a message from her Notes app with her health update. She also encouraged fans to “stay healthy and safe.”

DeGeneres started off the message with letting followers know that despite the virus, she was "feeling fine."
She wrote, "Hi Everyone, I want to let you all know that I have tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, I'm feeling fine right now."
The 62-year-old also explained that she had taken the necessary steps following her positive test.
DeGeneres continued, "Anyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified, and I am following all proper CDC guidelines."
"I'll see you all again after the holidays," she added. "Please stay healthy and safe."
Many friends and fans of Ellen publicly responded to her announcement.
Lil Nas X commented twice, writing, "you will beat covid in a breeze. u got this ellen" and following up with "wishing u a speedy recovery."
Queer Eye's Bobby Berk also commented, "Get well soon."
A Telepictures spokesperson confirmed to several outlets that production on the Ellen Show will be paused until January.
