During her most recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Emily Blunt dazzled fans and viewers with her impeccable sense of style. The Devil Wears Prada actress, 41, donned a chic black-and-white polka dot gown that boasted a classic halter neck design, a sultry plunging neckline, and an ankle-length hemline.
All of these elements highlighted her toned physique to perfection. A black belt wrapped around the Oscar nominee’s slim waist added an extra touch of elegance to her ensemble. While visiting the late night talk show, Blunt and her Oppenheimer co-stars Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. discussed their acclaimed 2023 film.

To complete her get-up for the occasion, Blunt accessorized her Dolce & Gabbana frock with shiny, dangly silver earrings, an oversized matching bangle bracelet, chunky rings and a black purse. As for her glam, the Quiet Place star wore her signature blonde tresses down, parted to the side and styled into glamorous, brushed-out, Old Hollywood-esque curls. For her makeup look, the mom of two sported subtle black liner, voluminous lashes, rosy blush on her high cheekbones and a glossy pink pout.
After starring as Kitty Oppenheimer in the Christopher Nolan-directed hit film, Blunt scored her first-ever Academy Award nomination for ‘Best Supporting Actress.’ During the live show appearance, Blunt’s co-star Murphy, 47, (who stars in the movie as J. Robert Oppenheimer) and Blunt explained to host Jimmy Kimmel, 56, how a gift from the Into the Woods alum had an unintentional adverse effect.
"I just felt Cillian needed, even more than food, was sleep on this movie," she said, referring to her co-star's required weight loss for his leading Oppenheimer role.
"So I got him this very beautiful pillow that I'm obsessed with these pillows, it's a Hästens pillow. I gave him this pillow, but… do you mind if I tell the story?" she asked Murphy.
Blunt continued: "He was really luxuriating in this pillow one night, and he woke up in the middle of the night, this is what he told me the next day."
She added: "And he went to fluff himself back down in the pillow, misjudged where it was, and smashed his head open on the bedside table. So he came to work, and they had to glue his head shut!"
Murphy then replied: "I was a bit shocked you know! I was having a great sleep, and I had this amazing pillow, strange bed, strange table, [and] bang." Thankfully, the Peaky Blinders actor was fortunate to have the aid of makeup artist Luisa Abel.
"We were getting up at before it was bright, like at 2 a.m. or something, 3 a.m. So I called her then, and I just came in, and then she glued my head, and covered it all up, and you don't even see it in the movie, I think," Murphy revealed.
Alongside several other awards, Oppenheimer is a contender for "Best Picture" at this year's Oscars ceremony.
