Emily Ratajkowski, famously nicknamed EmRata, posted pictures from her photoshoot with M Magazine over two weeks ago, and fans are still flooding the comment section of all of her Instagram posts since then calling for her to apologize for the post. Why? Well, EmRata is known for her extremely slender frame, and in one of the photos from the shoot, she’s posing in a pair of jeans that are way too big for her—like, she fits in one leg of the jeans. Fans are calling her “fat-phobic” and are demanding an apology. Keep reading for more information.

EmRata's 'Fat-Phobic' Instagram Post

While M Magazine is known for its rather funky ideas for photoshoots, fans are saying that they went too far with this photo, linked here.

They're also saying that EmRata should've shot down the idea when it was proposed, especially because she is the author of a book about body image, a collection of essays called My Body.

The photo in question sees Emily wearing a cropped white long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. Her toned abdominal muscles are on full display, but that's not what fans are looking at. Instead, they're looking at the large pair of pants that EmRata holds open by the waist line, seemingly showing off how thin she is. The legs of the jeans bunch up around her ankles, again emphasizing just how large the pants are in comparison to her.

Without any hesitation, fans took to the comment section to call her out. "What a strange second photo," one person commented. "And you wrote a book about body image? Mm!"

"Writing a book centered around body image and then doing the second photo is crazy," another comment reads.

"Designers won't make plus sizes unless it's for a photo op where a thin person can be quirky," said another user.

"That second pic is so out of touch and ignorant," another fan posted.

"What in the fatphobic hell is that second picture?" said another fan. Needless to say, fans weren't happy, and because of the lack of apology from Emily, they still aren't.

Fans Call For EmRata To Apologize

The mother-of-one has posted five photos since that ill-fated post, and in the comment section of all of them, fans have called for her to apologize and take down the original post.

"So you're just ignoring the s***** fatphobic picture you just posted? Congrats," one comment reads.

"So you're not going to address the picture? Just ignore it and move on?" another asked.

"You should really address the picture especially since you claim to be about body positivity," said another person.

"We're waiting on a statement babes," one fan wrote.

"The silence is deafening...weird move," another fan added.

"ADDRESS THE FATPHOBIA," another enthusiastic user wrote.

"So you're just not gonna address what you did and not even apologize... okay," a final comment reads. So far, EmRata is yet to comment on the situation.
