Emily Ratajkowski took to Instagram the other day for a candid moment to discuss her pregnancy. Besides sharing frequent pictures of her baby bump, the model has kept updates on how she’s feeling few and far between, leaving fans to have little discuss besides the pictures themselves.
And those pictures led to some interesting fan theories that EmRata was eager to dispel, including one about the mom-to-be getting lip injections!
Keep reading for all the details.
Posting on her Instagram stories, Ratajkowski first addressed the rumors that she had gotten lip injections during her pregnancy. She explained that she "never had lip injections," and that she could not now even if she wanted to!
"You can't even get injections when you're pregnant!" the 29-year-old explained. "A woman's blood volume increases 50% which is why ladies can get a little puffy in the face and lips during pregnancy."
She also addressed comments about the length of her pregnancy, specifically fans who have said "you've been pregnant forever."
EmRata replied, "LOL yes pregnancy lasts for 40 weeks which can definitely feel like a long time, but I announced halfway into my pregnancy and it's only been 3 months since then! Actually it's weirdly gone by very quickly to me."
She also shared a new perspective she's gained throughout her pregnancy, explaining that although it's "weird to have your body change so much in a matter of months," she has managed to find a "whole new appreciation for what [her] body can do and what is beautiful."
"I'm gonna celebrate it on here when I feel like it," the model added.
