Although the motocross trend has never been hotter at the moment, with celebs such as Dua Lipa and Hailey Bieber among those making a case for the trend, Emily Ratajkowski went in a totally different direction when she was riding a motorcycle last month! The 32-year-old High Low with EmRata podcast host chose to forgo the traditional leathers, and instead, rode on the back of a motorcycle in Rio de Janeiro in some teeny tiny white fabric shorts and a cropped T-shirt!

On May 22nd, the My Body author took to Instagram to share some videos of herself riding on the back of a motorcycle, all in aid of promoting her Inamorata brand‘s collaboration with sustainable womenswear brand, Mirror Palais. Mirror Palais founder Marcelo Gaia is the one at the front of the motorcycle, FYI. And if you’re wondering why Emily and Marcelo went all the way to Rio for this promo, she explained it in some detail on the official Inamorata page…
“When @marcelogaia and I started talking about what we wanted to make for the @mirrorpalais x @inamoratawoman collection, he immediately knew he wanted to bring me to Brazil,” the catwalk model began. “Even though my trip to Rio was quick, I fell in love completely. Thank you, Marcelo, for taking me to your favorite city and introducing me to your mama’s culture. I can’t wait to come back and I can’t wait for you all to see what we cooked up.”

One of the pieces Emily wanted to promote was a skin-tight white cropped T-shirt with green piping on the sleeves and neck, a heart-shaped design inspired by the Brazilian flag on the front, and a huge blue heart on a yellow backdrop on the back, with the Inamorata and Mirror Palais logos on. The other item was a pair of micro mini short shorts with green piping around them and a Brazilian flag on the back, which she finished off with some white sneakers.
Although the outfit was not your average motorcycling attire, the mom-of-one still had safety at the forefront of her mind as she ensured that she was wearing a helmet in each and every one of the pictures and videos. Her long brunette locks could be seen flowing freely in the wind as she was riding as a passenger on the motorcycle, and for makeup, was sporting some slick winged liner alongside a natural base and natural lips.
