Emma Stone is proving once again that she’s a red carpet pro! Fresh off her buzz-worthy popcorn-filled pocket dress at SNL50, she turned heads once more at the 2025 Independent Spirit Awards on February 22nd.
Stepping onto the red carpet in Los Angeles, the actress stunned in a black beaded top featuring a daring center cutout. The Poor Things alum brought a pop of color with a vibrant green satin mini skirt, completing the look with black ankle-strap pumps, statement rings, and a bold pink lip.

Emma Stone's Emotional Reaction To Jesse Eisenberg's Shoutout
During the event, Jesse Eisenberg took a moment to honor his former Zombieland co-star, Emma, while accepting the Best Screenplay award for A Real Pain, which she produced alongside her husband.
In the heartfelt speech, Eisenberg shared, “I met Emma when we were in Zombieland together in 2009, and since then I’ve written little magazine articles and little things on McSweeney’s, and she’s the only person, I’m including my mom here, who would take little screenshots of it over the last 15 years and send me things like, ‘This is such a funny line! At the time, she was definitely, and still [is], the most famous I know, and yet also the most dedicated to encouraging me as a writer.”
Expressing his deep appreciation, he added, “I think about her not as my producer, but like a fairy godmother that I am riding the coattails of her goodwill. And I think it’s so important that somebody like her, who is so unbelievably successful in mainstream movies, look for people like me and Julio [Torres], and Jane [Schoenbrun], to try to produce our movies with all the goodwill that she’s amassed so rightly and deservedly over the last several years. Thanks, Emma.”
As the camera cut to Stone, she appeared visibly touched by his words.
