Emma Stone is expecting her first child with husband Dave McCary!
The pregnancy news came out after the actress was spotted going for a walk with a friend in LA, and her bump was on full display in the photos. As if that was not enough, a source also confirmed the baby news to Us Weekly.
We could not be more excited for the parents-to-be!
We aren't the only ones celebrating.
A source explained to Us, "[Stone] seems very happy and very excited about becoming a mother — she’s constantly oohing and cooing. She looks great, she looks healthy, she’s glowing."
The insider added, "She’s been keeping up with friends and work lately, she’s always staying active and gets her daily exercise in."
It definitely looks like that source got it right, considering Stone was spotted out on a walk with a friend when paparazzi snapped photos of her baby bump.
Although the 32-year-old is "very happy" now, she did not always plan to have children.
During a 2018 interview with Jennifer Lawrence for Elle, the La La Land actress said that she felt "at peace" about turning 30, and was ready to pay more attention to her personal life and to have a family--though that was not always in her plans.
Stone explained how her goals changed as she approached 30: "I think it’s been a good time to get a little perspective, because things were so heavy work wise for the past few years. And honestly, so many of my dreams are now personal and less professional."
The actress said that her opinion on having kids changed with time: "My perspective about kids has changed as I’ve gotten older. I never babysat or anything. As a teenager, I was, like, 'I’m never getting married, I’m never having kids.'"
She added, "And then I got older and I was, like, 'I really want to get married, I really want to have kids.'"
"It’s the turning 30 thing where you’re, like, 'I’m not that young. I’m young, but I’m not that young,'” she said.
