Emma Stone arrived at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival in a nearly navel exposing deep-v gown, for the premiere of her third major project in collaboration with Poor Things writer and director Yorgos Lanthimos, Kinds of Kindness, on May 17th.
The Louis Vuitton burgundy, shimmering floor-length gown showcased Stone’s porcelain complexion while complementing her softly curled red hair.

The film festival look was paired with a natural glam that featured a pink lip color and warm tone shadows across the eyes. The jewelry was left minimal with a gold cuff bracelet, chunky chain earrings and no necklace to distract from her embellished low-cut bodice.
Following Stone's red carpet appearance, Cannes' Grand Theatre Lumiere housed a standing ovation which lasted for just over 4 minutes after the premiere of the film, which featured other members of the Poor Things cast, like Willem Dafoe and Margaret Qualley.
Stone’s continued collaboration with Lanthimos, 50, has kept her busy with stylish red carpet appearances this award show season.
Louis Vuitton also previously dressed Stone, 35, in a mint green peplum gown at the 2024 Oscars where she took home her second Best Lead Actress Oscar, for her performance in Poor Things.
The upcoming dark comedy, Kinds of Kindness, is composed of three separate stories which contain the same cast, but in different roles.
In an interview with The New York Times, Dafoe, 68, shared that following the premiere he still couldn’t give too much of the film away because "Yorgos says he likes it when people have different takes on the movie."
Kinds of Kindness will hit US theaters on June 21st, which Stone will star in as three separate characters in various comedic stories that are interconnected.
