Emma Stone's Daring Red Carpet Look
Emma's sheer gown was actually custom made for her by Louis Vuitton. The delicate look features a plunging neckline with sheer cutouts covering most of the dress. Embellished with pearls and crystals, this look was truly show-stopping. She also wore a handmade velvet choker with a pearl-adorned golden flower also made by Louis Vuitton and simple silver stilettos.
The La La Land actress wore her brand new red hair in a chic updo, styled by Mara Roszak, and kept the glam simple with rosy cheeks and a bright pink lip. Though we loved Emma's blonde look, red hair truly suits her.
The actress stars as Bella in the film, and she explained that she was really passionate about her character: "I wanted to play Bella because it felt like acceptance of what it is to be a woman," she explained in an preview. "To be free, to be scared and brave."
Stone's good friend Taylor Swift showed up to support her in a silky black gown that she paired with a knee-length faux fur coat and black stilettos. It was her first public appearance after being named TIME's Person Of The Year, and she looked every bit the part.

But weren't fans of her look. "Blah and drab," one person wrote. "She could do so much better and has in the past."
"Who dressed this goddess in a used blackhead strip?" another user commented.
"The choker is silly and unnecessary," a third person added.
"I low key like the amoeba dress but the black neck ribbon situation is just baffling," the next comment reads. Don't listen to the haters, Emma!
