Emily Ratajkowski, more famously known as EmRata, is in big trouble with fans after her latest Instagram post. The post, a set of photos from her M Magazine photoshoot, features on photo in particular that has EmRata posing in a very large pair of jeans. The model, who is known for her extremely slender frame, holds the waistline of the jeans open, emphasizing just how *tiny* she looks as she takes up just one leg of the jeans.

Fans are furious with her, calling her “fatphobic,” “out of touch,” and “ignorant,” especially because the model has actually authored a book of essays called “My Body,” all about body image. Fans and celebrities alike are filling the comment section with calls for her to apologize, and “do better.” Keep reading for more information.

EmRata Poses In For 'Fatphobic' M Magazine

The photo in question, linked here, shows the model standing in a light-wash pair of jeans that are clearly much too big for her. Though she does have one leg in each of the jean's legs, it's clear she could have fit into just one leg by the way she holds the waistline of the jeans open. The jeans also bunch up at her ankles. Her toned midsection is on display, as her top is an asymmetrical cropped sweater, and she wears her dark hair tousled with minimal makeup and no jewelry.

She captioned the photo, simply by tagging those involved in the shoot and saying a simple thank you: "@M_Magazine by @oliverHadleePearch @CharlotteColletCollet thank you @JBTalbourdet."

The mother-of-one poses in a number of other outfits—mostly loose jeans with fun, printed tops and graphic tee's—and fans are wishing that she stuck to those photos, writing in the comment section, "Not a single person questioned this when getting final approval?"

Fans Slam EmRata In The Comment Section

Fans and celebrities alike were not shy in EmRata's comment section, and shared how outraged they are at the photo. "What a strange second photo," one person wrote. "And you wrote a book about body image? Mm!"

"I've been looking for those jeans in the second photo," plus-sized model Tess Holliday commented. "If you could just please return them that would [sic] cool. Tysm."

"2nd photo is literally embarrassing," another person wrote.

"What in the fatphobic is that second picture?" said a fourth.

"That second pic is so out of touch and ignorant," another added.

"Really trying to understand the purpose of the second photo?" another asked.

"That second photo is such godforsaken trash." said one user. "In the year of our lord 2023?? STILL?? Yikes."

"It's giving 'body positivity and self love but only for women that look like me ty,'" wrote one person.

"Body shaming but make it fashion? no thanks & do better," said final fan.
