Johansson's engagement ring is made from the largest diamond we've probably ever seen. She was first seen wearing the enormous ring at Comic-Con last summer.
Since then we have learned that is was designed by Taffin by James de Givenchy, the nephew of legendary fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy. Oh, and did we mention that it's 11 carats and costs an estimated $400,000?
For comparison, average engagement ring costs closer to $7,000. And clearly Johansson and Jost don't do things the average way, as most couples spend just over a year planning a wedding, and this celebrity couple planned theirs in just a week.
The couple married on October 29, in an intimate ceremony at Johannson's home in Palisades, NY. And they used their big day to promote a charity - another reason they're not like any other couple out there.
Johansson and Jost announced their wedding on the Instagram page for Meals on Wheels, an organization that works to fight senior hunger and isolation.
The post's caption read, "We’re thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and loved ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC. Their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults during this difficult time by supporting @mealsonwheelsamerica. Please consider donating to celebrate the happy couple by clicking the link in our bio."
It doesn't look like the couple took a honeymoon, since two days later Jost appeared on Saturday Night Live in his usual role on Weekend Update.
The marriage is the first for Jost and third for Johansson, who was married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2010 and Romain Dauriac from 2014 to 2017.
