As the 2024 presidential election draws near, it seems that anti-Trump citizens are pulling out all the stops to keep him from being reelected, including his own family members. Fred Trump III, the son of Donald Trump’s late older brother, Fred Trump II, recently released a tell all book: All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way, in which he accused the presidential hopeful of using racial slurs and saying of Fred’s disabled son, “let him die.”

Eric Trump, Donald Trump’s son, responded to the tell all on Twitter, calling out his uncle for trying to make a “quick buck” by publishing “garbage.” Keep reading for more information.

Donald Trump's Nephew Publishes Tell-All

In one chapter of the book, titled "The Race Card," Fred recalls the time when Donald's convertible had been damaged, prompting the former president to use racial slurs. "I went down to the driveway of my grandparents' house, and there was his white El Dorado convertible with two slashes,” Fred wrote. “Still remember it. And he had electrical tape, because the roof was black. And he used the N-word, twice just saying who he thought probably had done this,” he said.

Separately, Fred explained how he saw his uncle's election to president as an opportunity to advocate for the disabled. Fred's adult son, William, has severe development disabilities, and he's made it his mission to be a voice for individuals like his son. However, while Donald was once financially supportive of William, his feelings have changed, according to Fred, who claims that speaking of disabled individuals, Trump said, "They should just die."

Fred elaborated on this in an interview ahead of the book's release, writing, "A couple of years ago … I called him. I said, 'Donald, the fund's running out," speaking of the medical fund that the Trump family set up to pay for William's medical expenses. "And without hesitation," Fred continued, "he said, 'Your son doesn't recognize you. Let him die and move to Florida.'"

Eric Trump Slams 'Garbage' Tell-All

Eric Trump was quick to respond to his uncle's book release, and it's safe to say he wasn't happy about it. He took to Twitter to share his thoughts:

"It's disappointing that after decades of unwavering love, support, golf memberships, family vacations and millions of dollars in support for his wonderful son, Fred Trump has decided to 'cash in' less than a 100 days before an election," he tweeted.

"I have signed the checks and witnessed first-hand as my father, and our family, has provided endless financial support so that Fred’s son could receive the best possible medical care. To read this garbage and see that he has now followed his troubled sister simply earn a quick buck is disgusting, disheartening and a prime example of 'no good deed goes unpunished'," he finished, referencing Fred's sister, Mary, who also released a book dissing Donald Trump.
