In a lighthearted reel, the Hitch actress nearly loses her balance in heels but quickly laughs it off, playfully captioning her post, “I love Satie. I love @shonajoy dresses. I don’t like high heels on cobblestone streets.”

In an interview with The Times on Oct. 2024, she admitted, “I was never in love with acting. I don’t mean this in a self-deprecating way, but I wasn’t a great actress. I had my moments when I worked with really great people.”

Although she played some iconic characters, it wasn’t always easy, as she revealed, “That’s all they would say at the beginning—’She’s too ethnic for this, too ethnic for that.’ It was so crazy. That was the constant note.”

However, she did give us a glimmer of hope, noting that she’ll possibly make a comeback if it’s with the love of her life, Ryan Gosling. “That’s the one thing I would love to do. He gets something out of me that’s never been accessible before.”
